“Dream” accepted into regional show
Laura’s mixed media painting, “Dream” has been accepted into the current Summer Celebration show at the Allied Arts Gallery, 89 Lee Blvd, in Richland, WA. The show runs June 29 – August 6th.
“Entwined” wins an award!
Laura’s mixed media painting, “Entwined”, won the Baha’i Faith of Yakima Award for Race Unity at the Larson Gallery exhibition in Yakima (WA) in 2009.
About Laura
Laura Gable was born and raised in rural Nebraska. She earned her bachelor's degrees in Art and Accounting at Chadron State College in northwestern Nebraska.Her career began in accounting, then graphic design. Since 2001, design work has evolved into teaching and creating art. Laura now focuses on painting and instruction.
Laura's work has won awards and been exhibited at various public and private galleries throughout the region. She has participated in shows at Allied Arts, the Gallery on Gage, Carnegie Art Center, Wallowa Festival of the Arts, and Snoqualmie Vineyards. She also exhibits at open-air events including Art in the Park (Richland), Art on the Green (Coeur d'Alene), Wine Country Spring Fair (Prosser), Grapefest (Kennewick) and Harvest Festival (West Richland).
